Why do we have different #bathrooms anyway; cant we just have just #toilets with little cabinets where the loos are, and because there are urinoirs, those can be inside such a cabinet as well.

@feike Ive seen "Creature" be used as a gender neutral option since some dont like being referred to as a person. And person seems a bit awkward? Idk But there are certainly gender neuteral options
@chaoticleah the Dutch Railways (NS) a couple of years back changed how they address the puplic in automatic announcements
They changed from: "Ladies and Gentelmen, the intercity to Amsterdam Centraal, Utrecht Centraal, Eindhoven Centraal and Maastricht has been cancelled because we don't feel like it"
To: "Dear passengers ..." while not addressing punctuality with a ten foot pole.
But I frankly like the new thingy, because it feels more direct and polite

I maintain that while this app ecosystem shines best on GNOME (whether on a laptop, desktop, or phone), there would be a ton of value in getting it in front of Android users; a long-term path towards them actually using Linux on mobile once it’s ready for “normies.”
Getting these apps on Android feels far more urgent to me than getting Android apps on Linux phones today.
@chaoticleah why cant we just use the word person or other such just-to-human-referring-termology more often.
Not to make light of a difficult situation.
I mean, English has no grammatical gender like German and written, overly official Dutch does. So, there is no need to distinguish gender in Engish (only the "gender" of animate / in-animate )
In Dutch, a car is male, and a parliament of people is neuter: DE auto (hij), HET parlement.
