The original habitat of the #tea plant is thought to be in what is today Northeast India, Myanmar, Laos, Northern Vietnam, and China’s Yunnan province. Wild tea trees can still be found there today, some hundreds of years old and several meters tall.

Wild tea contains more of almost everything, it has deep and complex flavours and carries an immense life force, which shows in the amount of rebrews possible - often 10 or more.

Haven't posted much here recently... sometimes life makes you pause and reflect, even without #tea.
While spending some time in Spain I struggled to find good water for tea, so ended up having waaayyy too much cafe con hielo (iced espresso).
Now back to normal life, which also includes my daily tea... and back to sharing and spreading the love for tea... and I can only say: I like it WILD....

Eine Reise durch Vietnam vor sechs Jahren hat meine Teeliebe nochmal auf eine neue Ebene gehoben. Ich landete zufällig mitten im Ursprungsgebiet der Teepflanze und war sehr berührt von all der alten Weisheit dort - gepaart mit wohltuender Einfachheit. Die wilden Teebäume nahmen mich damals gefangen, und haben mich bis heute nicht mehr losgelassen.
