🕊️ Linda Pacini Pitelka, a Ukiah native, historian and lifelong reader, has died at 78.

Born and raised in Mendocino County, Pitelka went on to earn a PhD in American history and teach for more than two decades. She is remembered as a compassionate and inspiring professor, devoted spouse, mother and grandmother.
