I'm surprised #Polity published this. Under normal conditions they wouldn't publish it unless they had a good reason. I love that an entire book was written based on a just a few verses. The description makes it seem weak, but publisher descriptions are not always accurate. Especially when #theology is outside of what Polity normally does. (I won't go into what they told me)

Ten years ago a group of us met in an Arcadia coffee shop to talk about literature and theology, perhaps after the manner of the Oxford Inklings. We decided to meet once a month, and did so until Covid put an end to such gatherings, and here is a record of our first meeting.
Two of the founding members, David Levey, of the English Department at Unisa, and Tony MacGregor, have since died (though not of Covid), so we haven't been able to revive it. It was an example of a "third space" gathering (the first two "spaces" being home and work).
