Although today isn’t a rainy day (it’s brutally hot out, man), I absolutely had to hear this today.
This is such a gorgeous record. Jam-packed full of stunning alt-country folk gems, just one after another.
If I had to pick between this and Tomorrow The Green Grass to take on the desert island with me, I’m not sure I could do it.
Amongst all of the storied acts to have come from in and around Minneapolis, The Jayhawks are never mentioned.
They should be. They’re right at the top for me.
