#Cat8.1-Ethernet as per #T568B is the way to go, unless you can go with #OM5 or #OS2, then go with those #fiber standards!

An intentionally terrible hacked meme featuring the faces of Viva La Dirt League's Bodger and Greg of Honeywood. A coloured mnemonic to remind me of the correct order for Cat6 cable crimping. It reads:
with orange
obsidian
we grind
blades
while blue
greg
warms brown
broth

This corresponds to:
white orange,
Orange,
White green,
Blue,
White blue,
Green,
White brown,
Brown

And is the order that untwisted cat6 wires are crimped into connectors in the T568B standard.

I'm about to start wiring my home for ethernet -- from scratch -- brand-new installation, no existing infrastructure. Which do I use?
