#StarTrekTOS' "The Way to Eden" not only contains modified papayas as an alien fruit on Eden but also these deep purple fruits hanging from a tree. It also contains a slightly unnerving shot of Kirk that was flipped horizontally...and suddenly everything is off! 😅

#StarTrekTOS' "The Way to Eden" is the last time we see some fruit on the show. This plant (a papaya with lines cut into it, dyed red and green?) is highly poisonous and grows on planet Eden. I love that a tree with the fruits was included in the new planet surface shot created for the remastered episode.

Some of the topics seen in the "Confronting the Unexplainable" in #StarfleetAcademy's "Series Acclimation Mir"⬅️ are the "Psionic effects of the Galactic Barrier" (#StarTrekTOS' "Where No Man Has Gone Before"↗️), Déja Vu (incidentally the German title of #StarTrekTNG's "Cause and Effect"➡️) and Katra Stones (#StarTrekDiscovery's "Light and Shadows"↘️).

In #StarTrekTOS' "The Cloud Minders", Droxine fixes herself a drink while Spock is resting in the Stratos guest quarters. She is using the most often re-used glassware on #TOS, which was originally purchased for "Dagger of the Mind". This is the final appearance of the colourful glasses.
