I can't help but think abt how the 00s fashion revival is gonna effect fat kids and teens. I hated living thru the low rise pants with slightly cropped top era so fucking much as an even slightly chubby kid. Hopefully this time around, there's less severe fatphobia owning the zeitgeist but I know that despite how far we've come, it's not remotely far enough.

I enjoy #RuPaulsDragRace as much as nearly any other #gay person...

...but one thing that has me really conflicted about #drag culture (and especially #RPDR) is its glorification of roasting/"reads"/"throwing #shade". Seems a bit hypocritical for a media franchise that so strongly condemns bullying.

They keep saying it comes 'from a place of love', but honestly, all that #sizeism, #ageism and lookism doesn't translate well.
