Next, it was time to do something with the 303. With the field recording, I was thinking more in terms of some electroacoustic music. That meant using some FX & a modular or semi modular. I still had the Behringer Neutron semi modular out from another track earlier this month, so I wired the CV out of the 303 to the CV in of oscillator 1 of the neutron, sent both oscillators to my Purple Ring ring modulator.

Between the beginning and the end, the Wigner semicircle is flattened more and more into a semi ellipse, until all notes play at the same time. Another way to look at this is as an 8 channel polyrhythmic sequencer.
The main synth is the semi-modular #Behringer #Neutron which is a #monophonic #synth so once all notes are triggered at the same time, only one sounds, the lowest, achieving convergence. It takes 5 minutes of polyrhythmic phasing to get to that point. #eurorack #semimodular #music

This summer has completely slipped past me. June was filled with exhausting move to a new apartment (secondary home or as me and my significant other call it, the little home) combined with serious removal of old junk. July began with a period of recovering from the moving business followed by immobilizing heat wave.
Although I haven't really engaged in any fun time the past 2 and a ½ month - apart from couple of visits to cinema - it's been a rewarding summer. Getting rid of the old shitty apartment and old mountain of junk is so relieving. Feels like I can breath again.
Feeling of freedom has allowed me to begin seriously embracing my femininity. I've been thinking about #transition and #HRT as a real option for the first time in my life. I see this also as a statement - fuck the fascists, you're not the boss of me. It's really empowering to run out of fucks to give.
In May I further upgraded my #studio (pic enclosed) and it's starting to feel delightfully professional. Just recently I have had the time and energy to get back into #music making. Thinking about ditching Soundcloud, but not really sure where to go.

I already mentioned #Instruō small #analog #desktop #semimodular #synth #Seashell that looks like a work of art. I've been wondering for years why there are so few #hardware #instruments with a tight integration to #computer software and #DAWs, so here's one. It also sounds amazing in demos, can't wait to hear one IRL.
Consider me impressed by the new #Instruō #analog #semimodular voice. It sounds good, somewhat on 0-Coast territory but what is really impressive is the #computer #integration via #USB-C. In many ways it's doing what #Elektron has been doing with their #Overbridge plugin to integrate the external instrument box with the DAW with just one cable, but in some instances goes even beyond that. The #UI looks clear and intuitive. V cool indeed

That looks like nothing, but that is the back of my auxiliary modules for the 2600 #semimodular #synth. I needed all the 2hp space of this 19" #eurorack rails, so I put the power supply in the back. The rails are slotted for square nuts only on the front, so I tapped some 3mm threads in the back so I could mount some standoffs, and mount the eurorack power supply to them.
