I increasingly wonder what society means. Especially in debates when it comes to fighting and killing for it.
I think the most shocking thing for the Jews in Nazi Germany was when their friendly neighbor turned against them.
Similar currently in the US, where people throw their neighbors under the bus because they might be illegal immigrants.
The worldwide pandemic also showed how easily society can flip against the individual.

When there are multiple groundhogs that people say are "predicting" multiple contradictory things, how does that work? Is it a majority rule situation? Does the majority need to pass a certain threshold? Is there runoff voting?
I still don't get why it's called "public storage" when it's private.
And don't get me started on "self storage". If they're not going to let you live there, why call it that?

We keep creating the wrong software. Our thinking is so embedded in a capitalist framework that we don’t even realise that we are acting within its confines. The answer to replacing MS Office is not LibreOffice. The answer is to create software that serves people, not corporations.
Right now, I don't want a way forward. The way forward for me is simply patience. What I want, right now, personally, is a break.
