Playing #RainWorld for the first time.
It's an interesting little game. Charming. Really interesting aesthetic. It strikes a weird balance between challenging with all the randomly generated enemies and giving me just enough grace to continue in an enjoyable way. Curious of how far I can get.
The only mark against it is the faux 3D map they use. It genuinely makes me feel motion sick moving it around. I don't know why honestly. I wish it was a static 2D map.
Something to note is that this is part of a small list of games that genuinely aggravates my #ADHD. Hard to place but the frustration you experience at certain times due to either a significant loss of progress or unexpected character movement. It's like...feeling overstimulated and bristling.
Another game that gave me a similar experience was #OuterWilds. I eventually beat and got most of the achievements in but man, it was a doozy. It took a lot out of me.
Rain World and Outer Wilds are still fun but that's something I've become aware of.
