Good morning. Just finished puzzling this 500-piece puzzle. Took me about a week, I think, doing bits here and there.

Puzzling has started. Edges are mostly done plus a large owl

More of the puzzle is completed, one adult owl and two children owls. In a tree above them is another bird.

The puzzle is complete. It shows three owls sitting atop birds they have slain. In a large vine ranked tree, whose stem is featuring prominently in the centre of the puzzle, sits another tree. More trees can be seen in the background.

I usually don't watch shows now, I hate when they get cancelled and the story gets no proper ending, which happens a lot, but you can also find me at Serializd.

My reading list is predominantly #CrimeFiction (mainly Nordic) but I also like reading horror, #QueerRomance, and anything that piques my curiosity.

I'm some kind of a #geek and enjoy #FOSS, my main OS has been #LinuxMint for 5 years now, and I have an old laptop for distrohopping, currently using #Manjaro and #Debian. My secondary OS is #macOS.

I also happen to be a #language nerd, I speak #Swedish, #Catalan, and #French. Will mainly post in #English and #Spanish, though.

My favourite #music genre is #IndieRock, but I’d listen to anything, primarily more #indie genres.

#puzzling -cough- Maya again. I was trying out the style of this cool artist I found on the 'tube: https://www.instagram.com/sloeo - the shading is very much not my normal style so I struggled a bit - but I learned a lot and have mad respect for their ability to smoothly blend out things in...any medium, basically. also great use of desaturated colors, which I think is basically my goal for this inktober.

#onion - pay no attention to the fact that most of this painting is not an onion. just remembered this photo that I took. This one had a long ugly phase that...just kinda went away when I wasn't paying attention to it? gouache is a bitch. I should remember to let things dry before I decide that I hate it. also tried to practice more with warm colors, since I, uh, don't actually have any warm colors in my paint palette. except for an orange, which is still technically a cool orange lmao.

Maya, with sorta heavy blushing around the eyes and nose. the colors are a lovely taupe mauve greyed. Her eyes and augmentation are done in a brighter saturated purple with blue shadows for contrast. one eyebrow is raised and the other furrowed, in an attempt to make a puzzled expression. but I'm bad at expressions and just makin a face is hard enough. her lips are also colored, which is very unusual for me.

anyways the persimmons have some dark spots, and are shiny. the fuyu has a messy dried leaf.

... and while I'm waiting to see when I feel like adding those dark pieces, I have also started another new puzzle

Bovenin de tekening is een stukje van een puzzel te zien. Er staat een soort golf op in paars, blauw en roze, maar 1 stukje ontbreekt.
Eronder ligt 1 stukje, dat en andere kleuren heeft (groen/ geel) en een andere vorm.
Potlood, kleurpotlood en stift.

The puzzling thing about Gatis is that all the other gods did not know where they were from. They just...appeared. Then disappeared in the desert.
