Wait, wait, wait… #Pokopia is largely made by devs who worked on #DragonQuestBuilders ?

Obviously I’d rather have a 3rd DQB but if we can’t have that, this looks fun too.

I am currently still dipping in and out of my umpteenth #DQB2 replay. But I think this might be my last replay so maybe this will fill the DQB shaped gap later in the year 🤞🏻

I have some reservations about Pokémon Pokopia being a game-key card release. Is their Pokémon cozy game really larger than Cyberpunk 2077? (It's a Switch 2 exclusive so this is a legitimate question, maybe it's huge.) Are they maybe not confident enough the game's potential sales in to invest in the 64GB cards? Or are they using it to test just how mad people will be about first-party games getting that treatment? I'm going to opt for the "physical" release anyway because I know some folks with an indie game shop that's an official Nintendo retailer and I'll buy from them every chance I get, but I don't love to see it.

Shigeru Ohmori has directed more mainline Pokémon games at Game Freak than anyone else at the company except GF co-founder Junichi Masuda.

He's also the producer of the upcoming Game Freak AAA title Beast of Reincarnation.

Lastly, he also played a very important role in the development of Pokémon Pokopia.

He came up with the concept of the game and created a prototype to present to The Pokémon Company. Then Koei Tecmo was asked to help with the development.

Ohmori-san is Game Freak's MVP!

Si tu "achètes" #Pokopia, en gros résumé, c'est comme si tu louais un jeu, masqué en achat, jusqu'à ce que tu n'aies plus accès à internet ou que Nintendo révoque l'accès.
