As a #lefthanded #PCgamer, I don’t like this trend of keyboards not having number pads.

They’re my WASD damn it 😒😒😒

Being a leftie who loves fountain pens can be challenging. You've just written a beautiful essay on the left page in your nice Tomoe River notebook, you continue on the right page.... Smudges everywhere as your writing hand moves over what you just wrote.

To prevent this, I'm experimenting with filling my notebook from the back, writing on the right page first, then left. It feels a little awkward but I'm hoping that's just because it is new. Anyone else tried this?

I'm forever explaining to my right-handed wife that us lefties have to do stuff like this all our lives in order to live in a world that assumes everyone is the same.

I bought a #LeftHanded mouse and I started using it. The initial feeling is somewhat odd, as I've used a right-handed mouse my whole life. Still the controls and motion feels very natural and precise.

@Radgryd And TIL Emma Thompson is #lefthanded. I'm sure I should have known that before.

Just turned my PC on for the first time in a week and I'd forgotten I was experimenting with left handed mouse buttons (ie the button on the right is left click and vice versa)

Decades of using it the right-handed way has imprinted itself on me, so I'm not sure I'm going to get used to this method but figured I'd give it a go.

Does anyone else #lefthanded do so?

The problem I think I'll have is that all the computers at work are setup the standard right-handed way. I don't have a fixed computer (other than my mouseless laptop) so I'll be using whatever PC is free at the moment.

@ssamulczyk I'm a lefty. for Minecraft, I have the mouse on the left, but I don't switch the left right buttons generally, so I don't switch them in minecraft either.

My control changes are:
Jump: middle button
Sneak: right shift
Sprint: right control
Strafe left: left arrow
Strafe right: right arrow
Walk backwards: down arrow
Walk forwards: up arrow
Pick block: space

So the left hand controls the mouse, and the right hand is on the right side of the keyboard (where the keys I've specified live).

The trickiest thing is jumping and putting a block down below you, but not that hard to master.

My son has just finished demo #MinecraftEducation programming class... The CHAOS... My head now hurts...

On the other hand (pun intended), he's left handed (see what I did there?😅 ) and has serious issues with controls...

WSAD + space + shift is not really suitable for him.

have you ever tried writing from right to left, but mirrored?

i feel as though us right handed people should be the ones making the adjustment to you, and having a mirror on hand to read what left handed people write doesn't seem too bad.
