We are constantly looking for more volunteers to help plan and organize events. You can also use your skills or if you want to practice doing something like social media management, contacting speakers or what ever you like to do!

Finnish Game Jam is happening again in Lahti and it is organized again by Sosa ry and sponsored by IGDA Lahti.
In the game jam goal is to make a game in 48 hours. Game jam is meant for anyone who is interested in game development for example students, coders, artists or designers. Game Jams do not require prior knowledge, because game jams are great place to learn! Most important part in the game jams is to have fun! You can join to the game jam alone or in a team. Come meet other game developers and create a amazing games in a weekend!

IGDA Lahti December Meetup - Demofest & Christmas Party
Do you have a demo of a game that you want to share with people and get some feedback? Join us in IGDA Lahti's December meetup where you can share your demo or try out other people's demos. Getting feedback early on your game is one of the best way to improve your game and see if you have a fun game or still needs some polishing.
After the demofest we will also have after party with sauna, food, soft drinks and opportunity for networking. You can bring your own drinks as well. Alcohol is not forbidden, but disruptive drinking is not allowed.
Event is organized by IGDA Lahti in Fellmannia-talo. Doors open at 16:00. Sauna is open from 19:00. Event closes at 23:00.
Event follows code of conduct of IGDA.

A quick announcement that I am no longer serving as IGDA London Chapter Coordinator; it’s been great fun doing so over the last 10ish+(?!) years starting out in a team with Siobhan Thomas & Dave Green, particularly our hosting of many years of regular events at LSBU!
I’m looking forward to seeing what the fab new team (who I’ve proffered my ongoing support to already) brings to the chapter and any related or independent future games / games adjacent events I will be assisting in organizing in the coming year ❤️
