Finishing some runtime system work; decided to try a #deskpi #super6c cluster board.
An ITX form factor beowulf cluster is amazing.
#slurm & #nfs worked out of apt.
#ucx, #openmpi, #openshmem, #openpmix, #gasnet, & #hpx needed custom compilation.
The work took a couple months. The paper took a couple years to get published. Glad this finally made it out into the world!

Last week my co-authors and I published a paper in the Computers & Geosciences journal about "The scalability and composability of flow accumulation algorithms based on asynchronous many-tasks".
The algorithms can be called from Python and scale well over multiple CPU cores and cluster nodes.
