A shower thought I just had: all the people refusing to call #twitter by its new name #X (including myself) are unintentionally perpetuating the notion that X under #Musk remains relevant because “actually, it’s still twitter, that revelled town square of the internet”, and we should keep calling it by the name that we associate with that. Il y à ce moment où tu as peur… où tu ressens la sensation dans tout ton corps. La sensation qui te dit “cette fois, c’est pas pour rigoler”. Celle qui te dis d’assurer tes arrières comme quand tu étais ados. Quand tu sentais le danger arriver et que la seule chose qui te faisais du bien, c’était de te réfugier dans ta chambre et d’écouter de la musique à fond. Je ne suis pas encore totalement défait d’Instagram, mais ce qui est sûr, c’est que je ne m’y sens plus en sécurité. Donc #hellomastodon
