A lime green frog sits, curled up, on a branch, its eyes half closed. Crossing from right to left over it, with one hand on its head, is another frog, its right arm stretched out in a dramatic gesture, its eyes wide open. The picture somehow looks almost staged.

auf fein-splitt-kiesigem untergrund sitzt ein etwa handtellergroßer frosch und macht sich flach. er ist beige-braun mit dunkleren punkten an den flanken und auf dem rücken sowie ebenso dunklen streifen auf den hinterbeinen, die gehen in einem durch vom oberschenkel quer über den unterschenkel bis zum fuß, so dass sie die umrisse der zickzackig zusammengeklappten beine verschleiern. hinter den klar zur seite, kaum nach oben gerichteten augen ist ein recht großer dunkler schläfenfleck, 2 erhabene warzenleisten gehen in durchgehender linie den rücken entlang.
