Whee! My #FirstDayCover featuring characters from Terry Pratchett's #Discworld--including the epic #TiffanyAching--just arrived in the mail. Beautiful new addition to my collection of lit and fairy tale covers. 🤓🪄 #stamps

#HigherEducationPostcard 7.11.22 shows the University of Leicester – this is a #FirstDayCover to mark the issue of four Modern University Building stamps on 22.9.1971

As well as Leicester, the others were Aberystwyth, Essex and Southampton. The building shown on the Leicester stamp is, I think, the Engineering Tower

If you’ve got a request, please say – I don’t (yet!) have all UK universities and colleges, but I’ll do what I can!
