i spent the whole week in a single system with 93 planetary bodies and roughly 50% had 3 or more biological signals. now i have to rush to the next waypoint for tomorrows srv racing event.

today's jump was... special. some would call it chaotic. but yesterday we gathered at salomé's reach... that was fun... and chaotic.
Die eigentliche Bezeichnung des Systems lautet "Oevasy SG-Y d0". Wer dann noch etwas weiter will, kann zum äußersten Planeten des Systems fliegen und auf dem äußerten Mond landen, welcher inoffiziell "Salomé's Reach" genannt wird.
Auf der Nachtseite erwartet einen ein grandioser Anblick auf das Lichtband der Milchstraße, umgeben von einem pechschwarzer Himmel ohne Sterne.
Ein Ort, wie geschaffen zur Kontemplation...🥺✨

Die #DistantWorlds3 Expedition ist bei Beagle Point angekommen, ein Sonnensystem am äußersten Rand der Milchstraße im galaktischen Norden. Ich war schon vor 7 Jahren mit der DW2 hier gewesen, damals, als einige sehr prägende Ereignisse in meinen Leben stattgefunden haben.
Diesmal flog ich noch etwas weiter, zum System mit dem inoffiziellen Namen Semotus-Beacon, das am weitesten von Sol entfernte, erreichbare Sonnensystem.

on my way to waypoint 3 at beagle point and spent the evening scanning exobiology. this will be my 14th visit to the system farthest from sol.
i am slowly approaching a region in the galaxy, where the developers placed a whole bunch of memorial beacons for cmdrs we lost on our way through the void over the past 12 years. raise a glass to absent friends! o7 cmdrs and godspeed!

this was the wildest mass jump i did in over a decade now. parked near the neutron star for 3 hours and burned my eyes out... i looked basically like oedipus. discord and the game crashed constantly for the wing leader, got an invite to another instance, my game crashed and i accidentally spawned right in the main instance between two friends i know for over 12 years now. can't wait for the recording to come online. off to beagle point now! o7 cmdrs #dw3 #distantworlds3 #elite #elitedangerous
