DEVO - Are We Not Men?
It's hard to believe that this came out 50-ish years ago.
They may have made Brian Eno sad while recording this at Conny Plank's, but he did right by them (even if they refused many of his suggestions, keyboard parts, etc): the original recording is great, and this is the best I've ever heard it sound.
Their first album, and the start of a 3-album-run that is essential listening.
