Not only did I can for the first time ever, but I made kiwi jam and kosher style dill green tomato pickles. I also made canning labels with my Cricut and inkjet printer with print then cut.

Am so excited!!

Several glass jars of home-canned goods are displayed on a towel-covered surface. The larger jars are filled with green tomato pickles and labeled “Kosher Style Dill Green Tomato Pickles,” while the smaller jars are labeled “Kiwi Jam.” Each jar has a decorative round label with a green and red design. The jars are sealed with silver metal lids and arranged neatly in rows.

My latest #Cricut card, a work in progress. I used #cardstock and images from a calendar from Dollar Tree.

The art of cards is far too lost. I don't sell my designs (YET) but find someone who does and grab a handmade card for a loved one SOON!!

The project for the weekend was accessory parts for my mother in law's cricut machine.
Good to see all my practice with printing has helped get these done. Examples are prototyping one of the pen holders since the tolerances were too tight.
And figuring out when to use supports for holding up parts.
Added bonus is I discovered the Sakura gelly roll which is a really fun pen with lots of awesome colours.

Partner gets "Error -45, 11" when trying engraving on the #CricutMaker3 and that error is documented nowhere. 🤔

They're going to call the support desk in the morning.

First Cricut project in honor of a friend. Ignore the dust and will fix some imperfections up tomorrow, but so glad how this turned out especially since it's my first project and I did layers.

TIL: The #CricutMaker3 apparently has a requirement to be online before you can use the software.
Also, if you claim warranty, they'll send a new unit out and ask you to bin yours. At the same time they'll ban your old unit from being used with their software. So, no repairs for the Cricut.
Another tool off the shopping list, I guess.
