I'm all for a new nation called #Cascadia, providing it includes all of #California, not just the northern part. #BC, #Washington, #Oregon and California would be the third largest economy in the world behind China and the USA. Per capita GDP would be US$106k - compared to USA $80k, Canada $65k, Germany $55k, Japan $50k.
I don't want to be part of any alliance with current Alberta or BC separatist parties. In contrast, Cascadia would be a positive step forward for all the people in BC, WA, OR and CA.

Cascadia was always about protecting the ever threatened environmental resources shared on the Westcoast, not facilitating unregulated rresource extraction and destruction through a union with Oil drunk Albertan separatists.
