Bei Neu-Installationen bzw. Updates von Cakewalk by Bandlab auf Cakewalk Sonar, müssen die schon installierten Drumtools (by Nomad Factory) immer neu installiert werden. Andernfalls kommt es zu Artefakten (Knacksen)
Dies passiert immer sobald das Plugin eingebunden wird (auch auf leere Tracks). Hab das mehrfach nachgestellt. Andere Plugins machen diese Probleme nicht.

Seit September arbeite ich mit #cakewalk #sonar anstatt mit CWBB.
Die Weiterentwicklung der freien Version wird demnächst eingestellt.
Bei den ersten Sessions ist mir aufgefallen dass das Memory- sowie CPU-Management bei Sonar um einiges besser geworden ist. Der Load meiner MSI Maschine ist quasi nur noch halb so hoch trotz gleicher Anzahl der Effekte. Die ganze Haptik ist gleich geblieben, von daher bin ich erstmal zufrieden. Lediglich die jährlichen Beiträge sind naja ...doof.

I haven't tooted for ages! (sorry?). I've been writing #music . Just before Christmas I mapped it all out in the DAW, laid some guide guitars and drums. My old drum module had multiple outputs. The current one only outputs in stereo so I'm laying down tracks in the DAW for kick, snare, toms, cymbals & ride/hi-hat which gives me greater control in the mix and better control over the reverb. It's also easier to export but it's really time consuming
