Double Body Problem

Ghostly digital double exposure from my backyard in St. John's neighborhood of Portland Oregon. Double images of bent bare plum tree and neighbor's house with orange glowing window on two cold February nights.

Blooming has started in the inland Pacific Northwest. The plum tree is also budding out. Not sure I can say it's an early spring since there wasn't really a winter this year.

Getting some lows around 28F for the next few nights. Hopefully, everything will survive.

Eine der interessantesten Landschaften des Mondes ist um die Zeit des Ersten Viertels nahe seiner scheinbaren Mitte zu sehen: Zwischen dem Mare Vaporum (Meer der Dünste) und dem Sinus Medii (Bucht der Mitte) befindet sich eine hügelige Region, die von dunklem Material vulkanischen Ursprungs bedeckt ist. Die beeindruckendsten Hinweise auf lange zurückliegende tektonische Aktivitäten bieten die Rillensysteme (Rimae) Hyginus, Aridaeus und Triesnecker. Dabei handelt es sich um Kanäle, die von Lava durchflossen wurden und deren Decken eingestürzt sind. Die beiden Krater südlich der Rillen sind Agrippa und Godin.
