I'm not the first one to say it, but the way #Maryland #Republicans reflexively oppose #zoning reform because #WesMoore is pushing it is very disappointing, because it makes an already pretty thorny issue even more intractable.
The above article is an example... the author talks about the importance of building codes, but then ignores that their party's platform on #housing is "protect the suburbs." That is going to have a far, far larger effect on building rates.
