Setting up yesterday was like

Coach: Today's workout is sled pushes
Athlete: What's the RX weight?
Coach: You really don't want to know...

Had a great time helping out at the A League of Their Own aleagueoftheirownchallenge.com/ competition at Mission CrossFit SA yesterday. This is the 13th time they've done it. I've probably been helping out for close to the last 10 and it is always a hell of a lot of fun. Really upbeat crowd and really well-run

  - Equipment includes **Rogue brand pull-up rigs**, wooden plyometric boxes, red weight bags, green buckets, and dumbbells.

Four mile ruck with 60 lbs and some lifting buddies. Then off to

The theme for this week's programming seems to be "don't touch the barbells because we have the gym cleaned up for the competition this weekend"

Last two weeks have been shaky because of laziness and a bunch of travel. Back on the board today with some squats and accessory/core work. Took it easy on the squats because my hamstrings were getting tweaky

Tweaked my shoulder Tuesday when I ... closed my office door. So I skipped my presses today and did some shoulder rehab work instead. Tacked on a three mile run for the love of the game with a 9:32 pace. Happy with that

Think the shoulder is fine, but figured skipping a day was better than risking aggravating something. Need to get a more comprehensive mobility practice in place

Getting old is awesome

Early morning four-and-change ruck with 60 lbs and some lifting buddies

My friend Misty came out of rucking retirement this morning. For a while she was the strongest human female whose number I had in my phone. Then she got all boy-crazy and got remarried and she doesn't lift like she used to. Also we both got old 😀

Was great to see her and catch up

Pulled the rower down, threw in some new batteries, and knocked out a 5k row

First time using it since before my shoulder surgery a year ago and boy I felt it. Want to start mixing in some rows alongside my runs and rucks

Shoulder press, accessory work, and core work

Started alternating sets between chin-ups and pull-ups during my accessory work. Think I like that better than pull-ups only

Three mile ruck with 60 lbs and a couple of lifting buddies

I've noticed that my has screwed up the distances on two of my runs and one of my rucks this year (a 60% screw-up rate across those workout types) Has anyone else noticed this? I'm wondering if they pushed an update because these are routes I've traveled a bunch in the past. I'm wondering if I need to wait until the 3 2 1 countdown finishes before I lock my phone and start moving. Could be worse, but still ... 🤬
