Bought and beat Unpacking the other day it was pretty fun. I like games I can beat in a few hours to round out the 100s of hours I put into other games like Zelda or Minecraft.
Started Wanderstop yesterday and am enjoying it so far.
And because Wanderstop isn't just a game about Burn-out but much more important about tea and calm, I will celebrate this completion with my new tea cup for the first time that I got from my wife for our twelfth anniversary.
I drink much more tea since I started to play Wanderstop, and I guess this part of the game will follow me for the rest of my life. 💚
This game was sometimes janky, slightly buggy and the ending was a bit abrupt. But I love it.
As someone that suffered from Burn-out in the past (and was close multiple times) the story way extremely relatable. I've seen me so many times in Alta. And Boro is such a lovable character.
I finished it in about 13 hours but I took the time to do nothing multiple times. As the game encourages you to. I guess you can finish it in under 10 if you want.

Basically I use the Winter sale to mop up some games I wanted to look at but didn't get a chance to.
I'll take a look at these and then depending on how they land, get around to my year end GOTY list.
Found some time this morning to finish Wanderstop, a vibrant and wholesome game about a warrior running a tea shop and learning to make time for her friends and family.
A little on the nose for this holiday season.

Ich mag #Wanderstop ja echt gerne. Aber das Endgame ist so weit von dem entfernt, was das Spiel eigentlich die ganze Zeit vermittelt hat, dass es echt schwer ist weiterzuspielen.
Seitdem Kaffee ins Spiel kam, ist das Spiel so stressig und unnötig komplex.
Es geht um Burn-out und eine Auszeit zu nehmen. Ich kriege von diesen Tee-Rezepten schon einen Burn-out.
Gib mir einfach mein wholesome Game zurück…

Since release I listen to the soundtrack and it's just the perfect #SteamDeck game.
I tried to play it on Xbox, but it feels like a game that should be closer to me, if this makes sense to you.
Great to see indies showing AAA games that fun is first before innovation.

Game 20 of 2025: #Wanderstop
I love that it's a story driven tea shop game that focuses more on the story than the management. It's a very chill game where you can slow down and enjoy your surroundings. The story really hit home for sure. Very relatable.
