Finally some sun and free time. CT7ARW is currently calling on 18118 SSB for our new award DAP, from reference AP-205, that is also on CTFF-0454. Also playing with a #magloop from OM0ET, surprisingly good for it's size! #wwff #ctff
Just published my activation video from last October.
Enjoyed some CW, tea and just being in mossy forest.
So according to this award I spent 180+ days hunting WWFF activations... should I be worried? đ đ

@DC4DD wenn ich #Digitalisierung höre wird mir immer schlecht. Ist denn schon einmal eine Kontrolle bei einer #pota #wwff, #sota etc. Aktivierung durchgefĂŒhrt worden?
Another field radio park session making coffee and making #CW #Morse contacts. I love the #WWFF life, it's what makes my radio operations fun. I met a nice German lady and talked about the old country. #AmateurRadio #backpacking
I took my touring bike to the shop to install some bamboo fenders that will allow me to change my tires to 700Cx41 Surly Knards. #surly #longhaultrucker @brookssaddles I can't wait to do some #qrp #CW #wwff #AmateurRadio by #bicycle @n4jaw
I got 11 QSOs with poor conditions due to a probably solar storm, today 2026-1-11. I'm going to make brewing coffee in the field a regular thing when time permits. #wwff #fieldradio #cw #cwmorse #qrp #parksontheair
Friday afternoon #wwff #fieldradio #cw #morsecode #qrp and #coffee with the @qrplabs #qmx #packtenna #efhw brewing and drinking #coffee from my #grayl hiking water purifier kit.
I just got back from a failed #pota (and #wwff). I wasn't super motivated. I had just learned that a cousin is nearing the end of his life. It was the idea of ââmaking the most of every moment while things are still going well that finally motivated me to go out.
By the sea, 4°C, 15 to 20 knots of northerly wind, no shelter, in other words : rough weather. Propagation on 15 meters wasn't great. The 20-meter band was overcrowded.
I came back with 7 QSOs in my bag. The upside: this experience helps refine the criteria for deciding whether or not to go on a #pota.
A short video, due to audio issues with the

Your post is full of the zest for life.
As a beginner myself, and without a fixed station, I experience amateur radio outdoors. By bike when possible. We climbed a small peak; in our country, the highest is 330m. A SOTA with three of us, including a young operator who made his first HF QSOs with us. We descended at an average speed of 28 km/h (17.4 mph) with the antennas, mast, and batteries.
The hunters are very friendly.
A great benefit of #pota #sota #WWFF, ... is also the physical encounter with curious people. And all the questions and discussions that arise. An excellent way to promote and preserve the activity.
Another winter #MorseCode #CW #HamRadio #AmateurRadio #WWFF #PAFF #QRP activation. Weather is still nice!
