"Personal Jesus" is a song by the English #electronicMusic band #DepecheMode. It was released as the lead single from their seventh studio album, #Violator (1990), in August 1989 by #MuteRecords. It reached No. 13 on the #UKSinglesChart and No. 28 on the US #Billboard Hot 100.
