Like Mutts creator, Patrick McDonnell, I did not know Floyd Vivino had died. Great tribute. #UncleFloyd

A partial lists of musical guests of The Uncle Floyd Show.
Uncle Floyd has left the building. Rest in Jersey.
We didn't get UHF Channel 68 growing up at the Jersey Shore, but when my sister and I would stay overnights with my grandmother, I would make sure to watch #UncleFloyd there (also where I first watched MTV because we didn't have that in Brick yet either). Things I remember from those days is Oogie singing "Puppetry Man" when Phoebe Snow was on and some ridiculous bit about fruit flies. Took this pic of him holding court after a show near me in 2016. Legend.
I came late to the Uncle Floyd party - but am sure glad I made it! About 4 years ago a friend, who's distantly related to Floyd suggested I send him "You Can't Get There from Here in Jersey" for his weekly radio show. Floyd really embraced the song and played it on several occasions.
I dedicate yesterday's performance to Floyd, may his memory be a blessing.
RIP Floyd Vivino, New Jersey's favorite uncle. When I was around five, my father brought me to the Union Market in Vauxhall to meet Floyd and the cast. I was completely floored. Before we left, I yelled out, "SNAP IT, PAL!" and they all broke out laughing. I still have the autographs. Bye bye, Floyd. You will be missed. #unclefloyd #floydvivino #newjersey
Just saw this....#RIP #UncleFloyd....He brought some of Vaudevlle into the 1980s. ... .Beloved New Jersey entertainer known as Uncle Floyd dies at 74 - ABC7 New York https://share.google/cxTq0OPAWcQwG6ElY
Did anyone out here ever watch The Uncle Floyd show growing up???
RIP to Floyd Vivino, best known as Uncle Floyd, a very talented musician, comedian, television producer, and entertainer.
My brother and I used to occasionally watch The Uncle Floyd show after school, in the days when we only had one tv in the house. I can't remember now if we picked him up exploring the various UHF channels with the rotating roof antenna, or if it was the early days of cable, or maybe both.
Here is a little clip from the show, with Floyd showing his chops at the piano while some others on the cast got up to some mischief.

Another piece of my childhood, gone.
R.I.P. Uncle Floyd #UncleFloyd #NewJersey
RIP Uncle Floyd, a NJ treasure. Spent far too much time watching him and Oogie as a teen in the 80s.
I know this is heracy, but I'm so angry at Uncle Floyd.
He's had all the performances from his show taken off Youtube, many of which were entirely unique and not archived anywhere.
So there's no way to watch old Zoogs Rift performances, or Crash Course in Science, or the Ramones, or Tiny Tim on the show.
I've heard there are DVDs, but the show spanned >30 years. Are we expected to buy all of that? Where would we even start?
Complete madness.
