My son finally has a driving re-test. 10th June 2026. This involved me waking at 5.58am on a non-working day, to join a queue of 5800, in order to grab one of the last remaining slots released today at 6am.
Admittedly the last time I did this (July last year) there were 24,900 in the queue and no tests available by the time I got to the front, so either the bots are on holiday or the "new measures" are having some positive effect #UKDrivingTest
