I've started working on a new project to help me grok OpenTelemetry. It's a playground of different experiments. The idea is to start with the absolute minimum (no observability backends required). At some point, I might for fun go through every receiver, exporter and processor in contrib and provide an experiment for each one.

Since having g-i issues and covid (almost done with it? hope) My weight is down 16lbs to 208 which to me is lower by a bit to my running weight #TheHardWay Also getting hungry and snarky, so that is probably a good sign
I wish #firefish best luck, but I doubt moving to a different DB is going to be the end of their performance issues. I'm honestly surprised this is the approach they went for, instead of just tuning postgresql as it's an incredibly mature piece of software.
Always remember, never, ever host any serious #database on a VM/VPS. Always go for #baremetal if you have the choice.
