In another time I'd have discussed how better executed a violent action movie it was than a Jason Statham movie.

But its themes of paramilitaries, conducting outlaw operations, with lies as excuses are far too close to current events for comfort.

Even in its time it was not regarded as a particularly good movie.

Just watched #TheContractor and like many #American thrillers, it presents the disturbing premise that the hero is infallible regardless of the atrocious acts he carries out. The main character played by #ChrisPine is a soldier who is kicked out of the army for taking illegal drugs and becomes a contractor because he was unable to provide for his wife and child. He proceeds to murder countless innocent people and despise his reprehensible actions, we are expected to root for him. Deplorable.

Боевик. Про солдата. Наркомана. Отставника. Нет, я не укурился. Просто такой нудный фильм. И неторопливый.

Даже актёры какие-то узнаваемые, хоть и из "третьего состава".

Почти хорошие парни убивают друг дружку из-за плохих богатеев, которые прокручивают свои делишки под лозунгами спасения страны. Но на самом деле!!! Но потом почти хорошие отомстили.
Предсказуемо, короче.

IMDb: 5.7. Нуууу... где-то так. Я бы больше 5.0 не давал, но но снято не на телефон, есть намёк на сюжет , и не в подвале.

Не рекомендую, если вы ждали боевик. Рекомендую, если вам нужна видеожвачка перед сном. Три перестрелки на все полтора часа действия.
