In my wallpapering the town with applications I actually applied at a fast food place and got an interview. Being an older guy I kind of figured I would be out of place.

Walking into the restaurant I don't think I saw anyone who was under the age of 30. It surprised me. Drive-thru, fry cooks, front counter, all older people I didn't expect.

Really makes you think what kind of world is it where older people have to rely on fast food jobs to survive.

This one. This world.

This just reminds me of the time I went to a pita restaurant in Oshawa and needed to use their bathroom. To my horror, I realized their public bathroom was where the staff kept their personal belongings including purses, and where the restaurant stores their packaged food. WTAF?
