Sunshine in a Pacific Northwest winter? That’s a rare pour. ☀️🌲
We’re raising a glass to those crisp, golden rays with Ferment Brewing Company’s **Wild & Free We Roam Golden Ale**—bright, refreshing, and brewed in partnership with the Oregon Wildlife Foundation to support the wild places that make this corner of the world so magical. Every sip celebrates open skies, roaming elk, rushing rivers, and the delicate balance of ecology that keeps it all thriving.
And when the sun dips early (because… winter), there’s the smooth, cascading comfort of their **Nitro Dry Stout**—velvety, rich, and perfectly suited for cozying up after a day spent soaking in that rare bluebird sky.
Here’s to protecting what’s wild, savoring what’s local, and never taking a sunny PNW winter day for granted. 🍺✨
Out of the can, Wild & Free ... produces a strong amount of off-white head, resting on a pool of clear gold. Receding, there remain constellations of lacing inside the glass, above the surface.
Swirling and sniffing, we recover notes of perfume akin to wilderness floral, stone fruit, melon, and some sweet honey.
Sipping, we recover subtle notes of sulfur, orange and tropical citrus, some resiny pine, and stone fruit. Overall, Wild & Free ... has a mild to medium mouthfeel, some alcoholic warmth, and a lingering medium bitterness

Out of the can, Nitro Dry Stout produces a mosh pit of mocha-white head, resting on a clear pool that is dark in the comfort of your hand, but appears the darkest of burgundy in the light.
Swirling and sniffing, we recover notes of dried grape (yeah, raisin), some coffee, toffee, and roasted grains.
Sipping, much of the aroma is in the sip. Overall, Nitro Dry Stout has a mild mouthfeel, some alcoholic warmth, and a bitter finish.
