The last two days of the Aspen winter conference on “Paving the Way to New Discoveries in Particle Physics” ended with some pretty interesting stuff. From questions about sources of ultra-high-energy neutrinos to implications for the Standard Model from quantum information theory, this conference did not disappoint.

For some the boundaries and cutoffs of the #StandardModel in #Physics are exactly where we left them 44 years ago. For them last night's musings will be nothing more than playful fantasy. For others some ideas have nothing to do with physics , past, present or future, regardless of what day it is. They are heresy. Certainly not science. We call them good trouble. A possible door to something else,somewhere else. We can't prove it exists...and they can't prove it doesn't
