👉 game options / Compatibility: force proton-cachyos

Verifying FSR mode and version with additional launch option PROTON_FSR4_INDICATOR=1 looks like this - still not exactly amazing, but WMMA IS the new tech!

I've just discovered the SEVA-V suit! (It's in Rostok - enough with the spoilers, on social media 😉).
This is my usual light weight / exploration load-out, btw. I don't need much. The long-range detector, the other one, with directionality, and a minimum amount of ammo.
(Side) Quests tend to require more ammo, though.

My Ryzen 7840HS + Radeon 9060XT/16G gives me solid 45 to over 80FPS. It can't quite stretch its legs, because it runs via PCIe Gen4 x4 (OCuLink eGPU).
I've just spent over an hour exploring Rostok - i love what Freedom did with the place - it really feels kinda homey, now! 🥰🍻
I'm mildly reluctant; is it wise to change the caliber of my Vector (Integral-A) to the one the Mack 10 uses - .45 ACP?
I'm worried that the M10 firing rate eats ammo for breckies, and there might not be much left for the Vector.
Any #Stalker2 veterans present? 😏 (i've got 86 hours under my belt)
Btw, if you want to mod your Vector, go to Rostok - their tech can do it.
Also, is there a high capacity magazine for this thing?

After quite a few hours of playing #Stalker2, i've finally met the hunter.
Fleshes are easy, but then he gave me the Snork mission. After my 2nd attempt, i quit and went to sleep.
Now, well-rested, and armed with a Käffchen, i'll try again - i'll put shotguns in both of my long arm slots, see what happens.
Also, i've just learned that the M10 Gordon fits into my sidearm slot.
EDIT: the M10 is THEE Shnork killer!

Personally, i'd LOVE to override the #FSR 3.1, natively implemented in #Stalker2 - using my 9060XT/16G #RDNA4 capability, utilising #REDSTONE tech - that'd be, well, what i paid for, actually!
I wonder, will #Stalker2 eventually be done compiling ALL the shaders, or is there something wrong with cache persistence?
Every time i start the game, it compiles shaders - even when i close and re-start it several times in a row.
I'm talking about a theoretical scenario without code updates / cache invalidation.

Turns out, you can absolutely get hit by a lightning bolt, in #Stalker2 - few minutes ago, yoink, half my health gone. 😅
Since it's 10 blow freezing, and still falling, i'll spend the night playing #Stalker2.
My 7840HS + 9060XT/16G amounts to a 300-ish Watt heater.
But 1st, i'll have a little Käffchen :blobcoffee:
Oh mann, #Stalker2 ist echt lang. Ich scheine erst bei 15-20% zu sein. Uff! :D
