TIL macOS still can't record internal audio natively in 2026. Deliberate security choice by Apple, apparently.
I tested every workaround — BlackHole (free virtual audio driver) works great once you get past the Audio MIDI Setup dance. CleanShot X just works out of the box if you don't mind $29/yr.

Recording the screen is a sore point of Raspberry Pi OS as only a handful of hard to find tools work under Wayland and most are command line only. Botspot's Screen Recorder is a new tool that glues a GUI to the others and adds useful functionality such as recording a webcam feed and the screen at the same time.
