I've felt for a long time, that scientists should never say; 'the fact is' or 'we know for a fact'.
Instead they should always say; 'as far as we know' or 'the science to date, shows that...' or similar.
Science is based on observation and you may think you've exhausted all possibilities until.. oops! Never thought of that...
Can science ever discover the absolute truth about reality?
Is #science absolute? Its #truths and #discoveries guide us toward the nature of reality, but we must always remain open-minded to revisions.
In order for a #hypothesis, idea, or even a fact or law to become a #ScientificTruth, it must clear an immense standard of #evidence and pass a series of scrutinous #tests to get there.
But "scientific truth" is very different from our idea of true vs. false or right.
