released sbt 1.12.3, featuring the end of Scala 2.13-3.x bilateral interoperability (aka Scala 2.13-3.x sandwich)
while it's popular to discuss the topography of hot dogs and tacos, an oft overlooked sandwich is Wawa hoagie, which let's be honest, is cut only on one-side

Scripting on the JVM with Java, Scala, and Kotlin https://lobste.rs/s/ehw8fx #java #kotlin #scala

I reported a #Scala 3 bug, and it was fixed in one day π
And this isn't the first time I'm amazed of how fast some reported issues get solved in this repository.
Took `strictEqualityPatternMatching` and `subCases` for a test ride.
`strictEqualityPatternMatching` works pretty good. also across `sum`/`enum` types and `union` types. Nice!
`subCases` interfered with exhaustivity checks. Maybe I am doing something wrong. `subCases` for `sum` types to tease them out separately would be solid.
`Integer` pattern match was deemed exhaustive when shouldn't have been. (will do some more tests here.)
As you know, I'm not a big fan of using Discord for Mill support, but since it's an official Scala server, I am there nevertheless and try to answer and help when I can. Should I be required to verify my age, I will be no longer available on that platform!
I wrote a Rust macro that's like Scala's for comprehension: https://crates.io/crates/cada and https://codeberg.org/dpp/cada #rust #rustlang #cargo #scala
