Blocking the Satanic Temple’s holiday display again just shows blatant religious discrimination. Claiming harm to minors lacks concrete evidence and only protects Christian symbols while silencing minority faiths. This is a clear violation of religious freedom and equality in public spaces.

The Satanic Temple can take your money, but it cannot feed you. The Satanic Temple can sell you a T-shirt, but it cannot protect you or save you. an email newsletter list for merch and soliciting donations, nationwide 300 active members and two buildings in Massachusetts, is not infrastructure to serve tens of millions in need
no one sharing the claim otherwise can tell you what TST’s budget was last year, how many people they fed last year, or where someone hungry would even need to show up.
dunking on evangelicals (who will actually feed you! but probably also ask prying personal questions) is not a good excuse to ignore these practical, necessary considerations
local food banks need your money. Food Not Bombs and legitimate religious organizations (of your own traditions) need your support for doing more of what they’re already doing. your neighbors need to know you and know y’all can share meals and resources with each other. that is true, and the time for preventative measures is running out
do not let people in your life think TST will feed them come Saturday; that is not real. the real work is much harder

The idea that TST has the inclination or infrastructure to feed anyone in need is a lie. This is not happening. The Satanic Temple rarely helps *anyone* but its owners, and certainly won’t help an appreciable number of hungry people even in Salem, Mass., the only physical location that actually exists.
They have like 300 real members nationwide, and no infrastructure.

I'm a pretty committed atheist, so I'm probably not who you're asking.
But I did finish a couple degrees at a Catholic university, which had a strong school of natural sciences.
Through my casual interactions with Catholic faculty, including resident Brothers and Sisters, I happened to learn a little about Catholicism: I think it's more about having faith in people (and hope for them) than a blind faith in a god, or how any of us perceive a god.
I've also gained disdain for anyone who claims to be Christian, especially before (or without) showing it through their actions. That's just taking their lord's name in vain, which is prohibited by their own playbook--not that any of *those* people actually read or follow it.
I prefer the honesty of the #SatanicTemple .

The word "hate" is one I prefer not to use.
Also, the condition "if" does some heavy lifting; if someone thinks of themself as "chosen" to receive favor because of some god and treats others as less because of it, I'm going to have a problem with that.
