What I <3 with the #SCA. I showed up at the local meeting and was welcomed with open arms.
One person and I had met before; neither of us remembers it, but the timeline makes sense, and we have a ton of common friends.
Bonded over fabric hoarding, panic sewing and dogs.
I also picked up a book about Överhogdalstapeten (not the same one that @mi already got) and some smaller books in English

Cold outside and an icy wind. But it was sunny when I went to charity shop on the same tramline as me. I got some pokemons, and an ironing board that you put on your table. It's for my youngest, who moved out this summer.
Then I decided to put my over twenty year old hand written class notes from an overview of the history of Western learned magic, into a more organised, typed version.
And THEN I finished the medieval letter (we call them scrolls) that I started yesterday. Did I take a photo before sending it with my friend Alfhild to be brought to the event where it is to be used? Of course not. I will ask Alfhild to take photo.
She was here because of my bi-weekly sewing meeting, where her husband, as you can see in the fourth photo, got help with his Iron Age trousers.

Trying a 16th century Central European hand. I am not particularly good at this, it is a service for the Society, not my chosen art form. But I think that it will be pretty.

The OWS team got to present research and results in poster sessions as well as in one on one talks at the booth plus in a showcase presentation on federated HPC Workflows for Large-Scale Web Indexing, presented by Michael Granitzer from University of Passau and Martin Golasowski from IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center.

I’m a self-shipper, but I like to keep that side more private I guess.

I also play a lot of games, in particular #Arknights (+#ArknightsEndfield ), #warframe and #ffxiv .

Really into #yaoi . Always have been (aside from that weird phase where I thought I was straight), lol

I also do #digitart and #writing and have published a few short stories! I mostly write queer #horror , where the main character is the villain. I’m tired of victim protagonists, personally, so that’s why I started writing!

I’m also a #medieval #reenactor (#SCA ) as well as being into #lolita / #egl / #ouji fashion. Weird combo, I know.

Did I mention I really like (fictional) men? Because I do. A lot.

SC Asia will take place in Osaka, Japan, starting next week. The focus will be on new technologies and applications for supercomputing.
