And fun fact: the old terminal was not orginally built facing this way - it was picked up on hydraulic jacks and moved and rotated to make room for the new #SBA terminal that was built in 2010-11. So before then, line-of-sight from this entryway would not have been pointed towards landing aircraft. Maybe they picked this orientation on purpose? #SantaBarbara #SantaBarbaraAirport

I biked out to the Santa Barbara airport yesterday and noticed the sidewalk leading up to the 1942 terminal points right at the fence that aircraft cross when landing on runway 25.
