As I mentioned yesterday, @lionelb described the Gilbern Invader estate as a ‘Stagitar’. Today, we’re looking at the ‘itar’ bit in the form of the Reliant Scimitar. I saw this 1977 SE6a model at the NEC Classic Motor Show last year.

Today, we’re lingering on the subject of the Morris Marina door handles with this example of the Reliant Scimitar, which I saw at last weekend’s NEC Classic Motor Show. When the revamped SE6 version of the Scimitar was introduced in 1975, it received important upgrades such as a lengthened wheelbase for more interior space and also, like yesterday’s Lotus Eclat, Marina door handles.

Got the ventral saucer, pylon and nacelle decals applied to #Reliant last night. One of the red stripes curled and fell apart so I removed it and the one opposite (I’ll print out replacements when the new toner arrives).
