This is from back when I was obsessed with fountain pens, fude nibs and ink drawings! I had fun sketching some crows/ravens and some pretty nature!

The raven is not afraid of the white-tailed eagle (sea eagle). On the contrary, it never misses an opportunity to annoy the larger animal.
Was fun to photograph the interaction between these two.

A raven on a rusty old cannon
It was the first time I'd ever seen a raven. I was taken aback by how big it was and the macabre croaking and gulping noises it made.
Years later I learned how spooky smart these birds are. Back in the 60s one of them stole the Crown Jewels from a state-of-the-art (think James Bond-level gadgetry) security system. Nobody knew who did it for months.
