Welche generation schule bist du so?
Ich leg mal vor mit, mimeographie lernmaterial, vom lehrpersonal noch von hand geschrieben und vervielfältigt.. später gabs dann sogar schon Overhead Projektoren.
Aber immer nach wie vor die klassische schultafel.

We all know about the tragic loss of the original 3d data and files used to create all those awesome space scenes and battles..
But what if we could use one of the modern ""AIs"" to scan trough the whole of all babylon 5 and reproduce the 3d meshes, pixelclouds and textures for us?
That could. maybe, be one at least not completely meaningless task for those energy monsters....... Mh ;)

I actually never told anyone .. except for those few ppl who visit me in real live (very few).
This is my actual and most beloved keyboard _EVER_ .... well.. at least since 2007.
I actually own and use a second one ... (the original got worn down _a lot_).
But this is the one and only true linux keyboard for me.
I mean, LOOK AT IT!!! IT HAS A TUX KEY!! ;)
And, it might look funny to you .. but it _is_ actually funny, because all keycaps are approx. 20% bigger than usual keycaps.....
Which really helps in case you may be inebriated by CH3CH2OH or similar stuff... Ok i'm joking, it's really nice to have such a "BIG" keyboard ... cuz it keeps my arms mooving a bit at least. ;)
Anyhow ..... i never publicly spoke about it on the internet ... here we are..
My most beloved keyboard is a frickin Cherry CyMotion Master Linux - G86-21070DEAAAC
And why? Because it has a freakin TUX KEY! .. And it actually came with a (now rather old) version of SuSE Linux on a cdrom including some configs and stuff for lineakd, the way to handle all those extra keys way back then... ;)

The usual routine one could not shed whatsoever. Being around a starbase, a planet, a moon, even while orbiting a star .. one needed to be comfortable when going to sleep.
Nothing could beat the safe and warm feeling of sleeping in zero gravity, in a nice warm chamber, enclosed by lot's of hardened hull plating and protected by a shield no asteroid ever could disturb.

Wird immerhin langsam kühler .... die hier überwinternden vogelarten können gut "ein klein wenig" zufütterung brauchen...

Wenn du dann erstmal sonen deckenlentivator hast .. isses dann doch erstaunlich wie häufig mensch den dann doch mal auch bei kühleren temperaturen einschaltet..
So als miefquirl beim durchlüften damit der kram besser abzieht ... oder um die warme luft von der decke auch mal runter zu mir am schreibtisch zu kriegen wenn der gasofen bollert.....

Jetzt hatte ich bald zwei tage lang doffes wamdue project king of my castle im kopp .... selbst die absurd nullwert lyrics konnten das nich ändern..
Und jetzt .... fscking Hotel California von den Eagles....
Mensch könnte ja meinen, das wäre nice so automagisch mucke im kopp zu haben zu jeder zeit...

Heh, ich stelle grad mal wieder fest, wie sehr die welt sich noch verändert hat..
"Um die jahrtausendwende herum" war das meiste an beleuchtung in meiner wohnung irgendwie noch glühbirnen... Langsam fing der trend an wenigstens hier und da ebendiese durch leuchtstoffröhren oder grad die gruseligen ESL kompaktleuchtstoffgruseligkeiten zu ersetzen..
LED kamen dann später erst.. shit .. bis blaue LEDs wirklich sinnvoll marktreif waren hats locker noch bis 2005 gebraucht.....
Und heute? Ich hab - nur mal zum spass - grad mal überlegt, welche lichtquellen in meiner bude oder generell im haus _NICHT_ LED ist....
In meiner wohnung .. nurnoch zwei einzelne... "backofenlampen" in eben dem backofen und in der mikrowelle.. Es gibt vielleicht noch kerzen oder den rötlichen schein vom propangasofen. Ansonsten .... LED.
In der küche hängt als zweites licht noch eine URALTE ikea leuchtstoffröhre ... die mag ich schon garnicht mehr einschalten, weil sie alleine zum angehen/zünden schon so viel strom verbraucht wie die restliche wohnungsbeleuchtung binnen zwei tagen...
Örgs.
Im restlichen mietshaus in dem ich wohne ... inzwischen eigentlich das selbe spiel.
Es gibt noch reste von alten leuchtstoffröhren, die sich aber glücklicherweise auch rapide ihrem lebensende nähern.
Da kommen dann "ersatzleuchtmittel" mit LEDs rein..
Wenn wir nich gleich die alten wannenleuchten umbauen, um nen 12v netzteil und nen led streifen da reinzuklöppeln.
Über 100 jahre durfte die glühbirne werden ... bevor sie binnen 20 jahren ziemlich vollständig von LEDs ersetzt wurde...
Und wir dachten der wandel der zeiten würde irgendwie langsamer oder so.. ;)

So i cheated. I bought a scrappy home built - not from a kit! - time machine from someone without any public profile whatsoever. Fixed some few (embarrasing - if attributed to me) flaws, pimped up some few sytems to specs i found satisfying ..... and embarked to my journey.
I still love the face of my teacher, seeing me (my adult me) walking in to class, which tells him that he/i like to skip his class from now on and like to never see him again, ever.
She was the first to wake up after the jump. As usual. Human brains still couldn't handle the stress of a hypertemporal jump across the galaxies.
So, most of the remaining crew was completely knocked out .. and probably will stay in that state for several hours to come.
Time to power up any and all accoustic systems on the ship.
You see, as a cyborg, it's easy to just disable your sensory inputs for the short duration of the jump completely.
So you can actually stay awake and be free from the opinions of the remaining crew to get your heaviest and loudest music out and full blasting while you can finally work down your cyborg maintenance backlog.
The crew will probably _NEVER_ find out, that their soaring headaches after each jump wasn't just a after-effect of the jump...... But being exposed to thousands of watts of amplifyers, creating a spaceship sized speaker.
Just for her. ;)
So .. nachdem die damalige lichterkette in weihnachtsbaum-form leider im dritten jahr den geist aufgab .. und es dann also im letzten jahr keine bunte lichtchen im treppenhaus gab..
Hab ich für dieses jahr vorgesorgt..... Nu gibt es nicht nur bunte lichtchen sondern gleich einen ganzen LED vorhang, der die ganze dunkle jahreszeit über das treppenhaus und dessen großes fenster beleuchten kann sobald es dunkel wird.
Das wird ein spass noch mit halloween, weihnachten, silvester .. und all den animationen die möglich sind. ;)
