I let my #cultist #miniatures (#ReaperMiniatures 03940) wait on my mantelpiece unfinished for months. (Along with a #skeleton mini, I'm not sure the brand, that is also in a cloak.)
I decided to paint on them again this week. I painted their skin a few days ago but it was too pink so today I corrected that. I've painted the metals, wood, and leathers now. I've put off the hardest part: I haven't painted their eyes yet.

I'm very tempted to buy more #miniatures, but I really need to get a better and/or additional way to transport my existing metal minis as I'm already having trouble transporting them to my game nights.
Rather than buying more miniatures, I should look into buying a miniature transport solution.
Then I can buy more miniatures. I think I'd like to get some skeleton archers.

I bought some #cultist #miniatures (#ReaperMIniatures 03940) for my #Pathfinder1e game. They're three miniatures all wearing matching robes and carrying daggers. I might also paint a #skeleton mini in a matching robe.
What color should I paint their robes?
I'll probably use them as demon cultists of #Jezelda (female demon lord of werewolves) but they might worship other demons as the need for cultists arises.
I dropped one of my #OtherworldMiniatures spider #miniatures. Its rear legs bent. In trying to bend its legs back, the first segment of one of its rear legs broke off and fell in the floor. I can't find it.
But... the spider still looks OK missing part of a leg segment there. Maybe it is a seasoned fighter and lost part of a leg in combat?
I think I'm going to make it the "tough" spider.
I have all three primed and drying now.

In #P1e #Ustalav, a player told me travel was too long, so I planned to shorten travel and might not have a combat encounter so they reach the city sooner.
The player canceled for tomorrow's game so I talked to the group; we're going to run the travel at the rate I had originally planned. The player is just missing a session of travel he doesn't like.
And I get to use my newly painted #miniatures tomorrow.

I've worked on #miniatures this week that I wanted for my #P1e #Ustalav game Saturday. I wasn't sure I'd have them finished but now all they need is some sand or something on their bases and some sealer on them.
I'm not sure I'll use them Saturday though because last session a player expressed that our travel was taking too long, so I might skip the encounter so they get to the city this session.

My order from #OtherworldMiniatures arrived today (07 August 2024). It was shipped from the UK to the US in surprisingly good time.
I got a Marilith demon, a trio of spiders, and a Grendel figure. The Marilith came in four parts (body, tail, and two unattached arms), but the others are all single-piece castings.
The spiders might pose a basing challenge for me; only their spindly legs touch the ground.

I received a notice early this morning that a package I ordered from the UK is shipping. No idea how long it will take to arrive, but it's shipping.
I placed the order on 10 July 2024. It was for a miniature manufacturer (#OtherWorldMiniatures) closing/retirement sale with everything on the site 50% off so I knew it would be awhile to ship. I missed the Pig-faced #Orcs, they were sold out when I heard about the sale.

I got my #DarkswordMiniatures yesterday.
They included a freebie #miniature. I don't know if that's random or because I'm a new customer.
I got my new #Owlbear and Cubs (DSM4634) and Female Vampire (DSM1197) cleaned and ready for priming, and prepped some steel washer bases for them.
I'm excited to get that owlbear on the table in my #Pathfinder1e #Ustalav game, though its CR (4) is too high to actually use soon.
It took me two months to finally place an order for #miniatures. I guess I've been distracted by other things, and sending money other directions.

Just did a #TouchUp to a #miniature I painted years back; I saw some paint had worn off. The mini has seen a lot of play at the table as a re-occurring NPC, so it was showing some wear and tear.
Paint on the edge of the miniature's green hood was worn off. I didn't try to match the color, but instead primed the bald spots and used a lighter green color to apply a new highlight to the hood and cloak. Added other highlights as well.
I want to buy #miniatures but I can't decide which ones I want to buy first.
I'm torn between a #DarkswordMiniatures #Owlbear and Cubs, or #OtherworldMiniatures Pig-faced #Orcs as possible discretionary purchases this month.
If I order from Otherworld Miniatures it will be shipped from the UK so will take the longest to arrive.
I'm currently painting a pair of #Kalavakus #demons I ordered from #Paizo last month.
