The mysterious case of the missing documentary

On Thursday 22 January a Channel 4 ‘Dispatches’ was due to broadcast a program investigating the ban on Palestine action and the arrest of more than 2000 people protesting it.

It was never broadcast and #C4 won’t say why. None of the rest of the MSM seems keen to find out either.

Who has done the nobbling (OK, no probs for probable suspects) and why is the #MSM strangely quiet?

From one TV guide,

The Government's decision to proscribe Palestine Action as a terrorist organisation
has been met with waves of controversy, and thousands have taken to the streets

been arrested, threatening to overwhelm the police and the justice system.
Reporter Matt Shea investigates the truth about Palestine Action and why the
Government felt the need to proscribe them alongside ISIS and neo-Nazis.From IMDB text reads

I can imagine the conversations within the #London #maladministration.

‘We need to approve another data centre’
‘Why’
‘Oh #AI and #Palentir and keeping #US tech companies happy and other things, mumble mumble’
‘What about water and power requirements’
‘Who cares, if Londoners complain we will ship it in from #Wales or #Scotland
‘Fine’
‘What about #environmental assessments?’
‘Screw them, we have avoided them in the past’

Mahmoud's reflections in the Telegraph of a British #Panoptician appear to be getting very little attention from the MSM

'“When I was in justice, my ultimate vision for that part of the criminal justice system was to achieve, by means of AI and technology, what Jeremy Bentham tried to do with his Panopticon. That is that the eyes of the state can be on you at all times.' archive.today/2026.01.20-11451

A selection, from admittedly a broad article which reads

As justice secretary, Ms Mahmood proposed a major expansion of GPS tagging of criminals to create “virtual prisons” for offenders punished in the community. Since moving to the Home Office, she has announced a planned nationwide rollout of police-operated live facial recognition cameras.
‘Harness power of AI to get ahead of criminals’
In an interview with Sir Tony Blair last month, she said: “AI and technology can be transformative to the whole of the law and order space.
“When I was in justice, my ultimate vision for that part of the criminal justice system was to achieve, by means of AI and technology, what Jeremy Bentham tried to do with his Panopticon. That is that the eyes of the state can be on you at all times.
“Similarly, in the world of policing, in particular, we’ve already been rolling out live facial recognition technology, but I think there’s big space here for being able to harness the power of AI and tech to get ahead of the criminals, frankly, which is what we’re trying to do.”
Bentham, an 18th-century philosopher and social theorist, promoted the Panopticon as a circular prison with a central inspection tower from which a single guard could observe all inmates all the time while unseen.

Hot air, failed promises and government inaction

I fear the current Labour maladministration’s ties to big business and eventual personal enrichment, but #Baddenoch and #Farage would be worse. I suspect most of their voters either don’t look at their policies and/or don’t understand the cesspit that many in the US are forced to survive in.

I wonder how far the #maladministration is going to take it? Hidden donations via crypto, money from foreign governments via ‘naturalised’ British citiens, or even just the obscene amounts of money that pour into #Labour and #Conservative coffers making their party members an irrelevancy? I suspect very little. From #Russian money to the Tories, private health to investors to Labour the whole system is riddled in #corruption. They will not change.

That "very large, very very large, overwhelmingly large, no, more bigly than that, really very large" oil #tanker that the Navy #seized off #Venezuela today?

Turns out there's more to this than was first reported. I'm hearing that the tanker was apparently
already ruled by a judge to be subject to a seizure order, not because of anything to do with Venezuela directly, but because it is a "#shadow fleet" Russian tanker smuggling Iranian oil in violation of sanctions and hiding out in Venezuelan waters.

In other words it's starting to sound like the
#Maladministration accidentally did something legal for once.

Hearing of troubles in 's trades scheme.

Seems has failed to deliver the required technical training content for a 3 year apprenticeship within the 3 year timeframe.

And has not notified the of this failing.

Only notified the apprentices after the board had told the apprentices that they'd completed theur apprenticeships.

And tried BS "failed to attend".

?

3 years of low pay for the apprentices.
Another?

Applied rhetoric

rhetoric - speech or writing used with the aim of persuading

I'll soon be sending a series of, say four, emails to a group of +150 people who could be treating a + member of the group much better.

The group's already got the document showing years of mistreatment, mal-administration and targeted harassment.

If each email is on one relevant issue, what do you think those four issues could well be?

Rishi Sunak blocks Scotland’s gender recognition legislation
Is the Sunak #Maladministration not going to recognise Gender Reassignment Certificates from Ireland, Belgium, Denmark, Portugal and the other European countries that allow Self-Identification?
Or is this just a political act to pick a fight with Scotland to deflect attention from their failure to revive a post-Brexit economy?

@lowroader hiya, it’s hard to read the clipping text, but I get the gist of it.
In all my years of public service, staff had to pay for their own food and drink at any ‘social’ occasion, including the office Christmas party.

This is pretty disgraceful use of tax payers dollars. #maladministration #auspol
