Omg learned how to use a jigsaw today! Here's my plywood ski gondola cut out 🥂

Sanding was impossible - I kept splintering the edges no matter how soft the grit so I moved on, applying mod podge's clear matte acrylic sealer.

Next will be many passes of gesso-then-paint (can't do white gesso on the whole thing at once - I'd lose my pencil marks) then a high glossy sealant.

That's the plan, at least! Any #DIY #art tips/tricks? Encouragement is welcome also 😅 #LibraryMonsterMakes

Day off today spent chilling with #Hellier today trying to figure out how to do #stencils on leather + heat embossing powders

I read #BenStiller made his own aesthetics book in preparation for #Severance & I was inspired! At first I had a few of the most iconic images of the cast's faces (group photo, ORTBO profiles), but slowly removed them bc the emphasis on the props and sets and atmospheres were already so great ❄️💧🌐🔴
